If you still hanker for those DAYS OF FUTURE PAST then hanker no more as 20th Century Fox EVP of Marketing Communications James Finn has revealed that the extended cut of X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will receive a theatrical release next year.

When producer Lauren Shuler Donner previously mentioned the cut of Bryan Singer’s latest X-Men opus, it would have been understandable to assume that she was referring to the home video release. Who knew!

Just how many extra minutes will make it into the extended cut has yet to be revealed but I think it’s safe to assume that Rogue will finally get more screen time.

Having taken more than $700 million world-wide so far X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST is the highest-grossing film in the franchise.
