Since the Swinging Sixties, William Shatner has enjoyed a prolific TV career, often wavering in quality but never gusto, and now he can chalk up HAVEN to that list. Having recently teased his Twitter followers with a guest spot on the SyFy show, details of his role have now emerged.

TVLine.com has reported that The Shat will star in a four-episode story arc in Series 5, in which he plays a pivotal role who “has the potential to forever impact the fate of the town of HAVEN and its troubled residents.”

HAVEN’s mid-series final will air across the pond on December 5th, with the series retuning next year.
