Over the last few years, there’s regularly been rumours of another Wesley Snipes-starring Blade movie. In fact, the actor himself has often discussed the possibility, and now he’s once again talked about his eagerness to return as the Daywalker.

Taking to his Twitter account, Snipes said, “When it comes to another BLADE, there’s always a possibility #sharpeningmyfangs” before quickly following that up with “Ball’s in Marvel’s court…”

As mentioned, Snipes has often talked about his willingness to return to a role he last played twelve years ago (yes, that makes us feel old too…) and has regularly updated fans about how he’s had several talks with Marvel about that possibility and even about how a character like Blade would fit in the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe.

What lies ahead in the future for Blade, and whether that does indeed feature Snipes, we’ll have to wait and see. It goes without saying, though, we’d absolutely love to see Snipes return to the gig he last played in 2004’s Blade: Trinity.
