Having debuted in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman has now seen her solo movie brought forward.

To be directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman was initially set to be released on June 23rd, 2017, although that date has been brought forward to June 2th, 2017. This new date will see the film go up against Bad Boys 3 and Captain Underpants.

Interestingly, Warners has also announced two untitled DC movies for October 5th, 2018 and November 1st, 2019. Rumours are already abound that one of these films could well be the solo Batman movie that Ben Affleck and Geoff Johns are currently working on.

Where Wonder Woman is concerned, though, Gadot’s Diana will be joined by Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewan BRemner, Said Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya, and Lucy Davis.
