Highlights will include Hawk Games, the creators of the utterly gorgeous Dropzone Commander game. Hawk Games tend to have the prettiest looking models at any show, so if you’re coming to UKGE, be sure to check out their stall.
Games demos will also be provided by Midlands games firm Battlefield Hobbies, who will demonstrate six table-top and figurine games, giving people the chance to try something different.
Other events at UKGE include the Star Wars X-Wing Regional Tournament (as well as a The X-Wing Yavin Open for those looking for less competitive space combat), the Heroclix National Tournament, a Dystopian Wars Tournament, the Dreadball European Open Championship and the Bushido Grand Masters. The event will also be jam-packed with stalls from some of the finest creators of wargames in the world.
Now in its tenth year, the event is so large that it has to be hosted in both Birmingham NEC and the nearby Birmingham Hilton. It will run from 3rd to 5th of June, and members of the STARBURST team will be there to cover the entire thing. Details of the event can be found here.
