A second WandaVision spinoff series – the first being Agatha: Coven of Chaos, formerly titled House of Harkness – centring on Paul Bettany’s Vision is in the works at Marvel Studios for Disney+, Deadline reports.

Titled Vision Quest, the potential series will follow the vibranium-based android’s attempts to regain his memory and humanity. There’s also a possibility for Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch to appear. Vision Quest is being overseen by WandaVision creator, writer and executive producer Jac Schaeffer.

Where it gets a little more confusing is which version of Vision will star in the series. There’s the S.W.O.R.D.-made White Vision introduced at the end of Episode 8 of WandaVision, which used Vision’s body but didn’t have his memories. Then there was Wanda’s “Conditional” Vision, who forced White Vision to remember Classic Vision’s memories up to the events of Infinity War. By the end of the series, the version that remained was White Vision with Classic Vision’s memories, and no memories of Conditional Vision’s Westview life. Like we said, slightly confusing.

Bettany has been ambiguous about reprising his role in the MCU, stating during an interview that WandaVision was “a beautiful culmination for all these things Lizzie and I have done together. We really found a lane for ourselves, and this was different in tone from those movies. But you never know with Marvel, whether you’re done, or not. So I don’t want to call it the end yet. This was one of the most creative experiences of my life, joyful and free, making this show. To see it embraced by an audience the way it was, was so wonderful.”

The potential spinoff series is opening up a writers’ room next week.
