He’s the Juggernaut, bitch… or he was, but now Vinnie Jones has revealed that he’s joined Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle, the hotly-anticipated sequel to the brilliant Kingsman: The Secret Service.

Jones took to his Twitter account to announce the news, with his role in the sequel currently unknown. The footballer-turned-actor has previously worked with Vaughn on Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, both directed by Guy Ritchie and produced by Vaughn. Jones was also cast as Juggernaut in X-Men: The Last Stand when Vaughn was still on board to direct that film before he ultimately departed the project.

The Kingsman sequel features Taron Egerton as Eggsy, Mark Strong as Merlin, Halle Berry as the Head of the CIA, Pedro Pascal as Jack Daniels, and Julianne Moore as the film’s ‘big bad’. There’s also unknown roles for the likes of Channing Tatum, Sir Elton John, Jeff Bridges, and Edward Holcroft.

At present, Kingsman: The Golden Circle is set for a June 16th, 2017 release.
