Variety reports that Cassel will be playing the villain in this upcoming Bourne outing, which sees Matt Damon return as Jason Bourne and director Paul Greengrass returning to oversee proceedings. No exact specifics are known at this stage, although it’s believed that Cassel’s character will be an assassin who’s tasked with hunting down Bourne.
Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander and Julia Stiles will also be starring.
Shooting is expected to start within the next month or so as the film gears up for a July 29th, 2016 release.
