Remember how there’s an animated Ghostbusters movie in development? Well, after several months of radio silence, there’s now an update on that picture.

As per The Hashtag Show, there’s a rumour our there right now that says said animated film would actually be told from the perspective of a ghost. Whether that’s a new ghost, Slimer, or potentially even one of the Ghostbusters themselves (hey, Venkman!), we’ll have to wait and see how this all plays out.

In terms of animated adventures, the famed Ghostbusters team have previously seen action in The Real Ghostbusters from 1986 until 1991 and then in 1997’s Extreme Ghostbusters.

The last we’d heard, Clash of Clan’s Fletcher Moules is directing this to-be-titled animated Ghostbusters effort, and there are still reportedly plans afoot for a new animated series to happen at some point over the next few years.

As ever, expect more on all of this as and when it continues to develop.
