With Peyton Reed now directing, Latino Review is reporting that Marvel Studios and Disney have brought in Gabriel Ferrari and Andrew Barrer to work on the script for ANT-MAN. The duo will be working on the draft that was most recently revised by Adam McKay.

In terms of specifics, Ferrari and Barrer are actually being brought in mainly as production writers, meaning they will be on the film’s set and working on production revisions. Whether they manage to nab an actual screen credit remains to be seen. It’s said that their recent draft of SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH for Sony is what brought the duo to the attention of Marvel.

Starring Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, and unconfirmed roles for Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Patrick Wilson and David Dastmalchian, ANT-MAN is on track for a 17th July, 2015 UK release.
