The final piece of casting has now been announced for Sony TV / Amazon Studios’ upcoming ZOMBIELAND series – Kirk Ward (pictured above; and no, that’s not a lobster hand, just an awkward crop) has landed the role of Tallahassee.

The character was previously played by Woody Harrelson in the 2010 movie, but who’s this Kirk fella? Errrm, good question. Like its other leads – Tyler Ross, Izabela Vidovic and Maiara Walsh – the producers have gravitated to lesser known talent. A trawl through Kirk ward’s IMDb reveals he’s been around for a good twenty years, but has yet to enjoy any kind of breakout role yet. Hopefully ZOMBIELAND will take care of that.
