Levere, who played Victoria in parts one and two of the popular franchise, has snagged the role of Julia, an investigatory reporter who comes to the town of Chester Mill to have a little chat with Mike Vogell’s Dale “Barbie” Barbara. But she gets more than she bargained for when the entire town is inexplicably submerged by a mysterious dome. Like in that SIMPSONS movie.

Lefevre joins the previously reported Mike Vogell (CLOVERFIELD), Dean Norris (BREAKING BAD), Aisha Hinds (TRUE BLOOD), Britt Robertson (SECRET CIRCLE), Colin Ford (JACK AND THE NEVER LAND PIRATES) and Natalie Martinez (DEATH RACE). The script for the 13-episode series is being developed by Brian K. Vaughn (LOST) and Stephen King himself.

Official Synopsis:

UNDER THE DOME is the story of a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. The town’s inhabitants must deal with surviving the post-apocalyptic conditions while searching for answers to what this barrier is, where it came from, and if and when it will go away.

UNDER THE DOME is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Amblin Television. Neal Baer, Stephen King, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank, Stacey Snider, and Brian K. Vaughan, who wrote the television adaptation, will serve as executive producers. Acclaimed director Niels Arden Oplev (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) will direct the first episode.
