ARROW is due to return to Sky1 on Thursday evening after Season 2’s mid-season break. On the other side of the pond, though, the second half of Season 2 is underway although the Winter Olympics has caused the show a brief hiatus. Upon its US return in a few weeks, we’ll be given the ARROW debut of DC’s The Clock King. The official synopsis for the episode, titled TIME OF DEATH, has now been revealed and we’ve been given our first video promo for the next outing for Oliver Queen et al.

The official word reads:

“Oliver brings Sara into the Arrow team. Watching Oliver and Diggle spar with Sara and talk old scars, Felicity starts to feel left out. The team is investigating a villain named William Tockman, aka The Clock King (guest star Robert Knepper), who is a brilliant thief armed with technology that can open any bank vault in Starling City. After The Clock King infiltrates the computer systems in the lair, Felicity feels pressure to prove her worth. When she gets a lead on Tockman’s whereabouts, she heads out without the team, putting her in peril. Meanwhile, Oliver throws Sara a welcome home party, but Laurel refuses to attend. After Lance makes his case for a family dinner, Laurel acquiesces, but when Oliver shows up with Sara, she loses her temper on both of them.”

So, another episode, another appearance from a familiar DC name. The Clock King joins the likes of Bronze Tiger, China White, Deadshot, Dollmaker, Nyssa Al Ghul, Amanda Waller, Shrapnel, Dr. Ivo, Brother Blood and Cyrus Gold as going up against the Arrow in some form or other in this season.

Directed by Nick Copus from a script by Wendy Mericle and Beth Schwartz, TIME OF DEATH airs in the US on 26th February. As mentioned, Season 2 makes it UK return on Thursday, 20th February on Sky1.
