You’d be hard pressed to say a bad word against genre stalwarts Syfy. At worst they run a few too many repeats, but then again is that a bad thing? Like fellow broadcasters Watch and Dave, Syfy has got a lot of exciting TV up its metaphorical sleeves, ready to grace our screens over the next few years. One of the more interesting is Universal Television’s Clone.

Clone is being developed in cahoots with Syfy and The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and executive producer David Alpert. Based on the bestselling graphic novel of the same name by David Schulner (also writer and executive producer on the show), Clone concerns itself with a retired solder who discovers that the man who burgled his home is in fact a clone of himself. This leads him into government conspiracy prompted by the kidnapping of his wife. He then utilises his combat skills and military contacts in order to uncover a secret biotech program.

Universal Television announced last summer it was adapting the graphic novel for television. More details as they arrive. Will you be watching?
