Following on from Clark Gregg discussing Agent Phil Coulson’s return from the dead in ABC’s AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., The Hollywood Reporter now has confirmation that Stan Lee will be making a cameo in Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D. show. THR included the below image with their reveal of the news, showing Lee with the show’s executive producer Maurissa Tancharoen and stars Elizabeth Henstridge and Clark Gregg.

Little is known on what role ‘The Man’ will play, but the episode in question will air in the US on 4th February, and Lee has already claimed that the role will be a “big one.” Of course, Stan Lee is never one to blow his own trumpet or to exaggerate certain things… Still, it’s always good to see Stan ‘The Man’ getting an outing.

Arguably the biggest comic book name of all time, Lee is most famous for playing a huge part in the creation of such Marvel icons as Spider-Man, Thor, the X-Men, Hulk, the Fantastic Four, and many, many more. In more recent times, Lee can be seen making small cameo appearances in various Marvel movies.
