Another (likely final) prequel episode has been released ahead of tomorrow’s half-centenary celebration of all things Whovian. At less than four minutes, it’s barely begun before it’s over, but it nevertheless gives us a brief insight into the personal lives of those involved in the Time War, and a further reminder of the complacent arrogance of the Time Lords.

While Night of the Doctor induced an entire nation of multiple nerdgasms, this is a much more low-key affair. There is, however, also an enormous “Oh crap!” moment generated upon hearing exactly where these people are, and which implies we may well see this scene again from a completely different perspective.
