A Knight's Tale

Following on from August’s news that BATTLESTAR GALACTICA showrunner Ronald D. Moore was set to oversee OUTLANDER, a small screen adaptation of Diana Gabaldon’s time-travel centric book series, comes news of another TV project on his slate. Sony Pictures TV are moving forward on a new version of their 2001 flick A KNIGHT’S TALE, a 14th century set tale of, well, a Knight (or wannabe Knight to be precise) that took the unusual (some might say irritating) approach of infusing it with contemporary rock music. The film was a minor hit, but gained a large cult following on DVD. It also introduced the world to Heath Ledger and Alan Tudyk. Moore will executive produce, with original writer/director Brian Helgeland also on board to produce. Both will provide scripts for the series.
