The Munsters may finally be a complete family unit at last, with the news that Jerry O’Connell (last scene getting his knob bitten off by a fish in PIRANHA 3D) has signed to play Herman, and Mariana Klaveno as wife Lilly. Klaveno is best known to genre fans for her excellent turn as Lorena Krasiki, the alluring vampire who sired Bill Compton*.  

O’Connell and Klaveno will join Eddie Izzard as Grandpa, Charity Wakefield as Marilyn, and SPY KIDS 4’s Mason Cook as troubled werewolf Eddie.

Expect Bryan Fuller’s MUNSTERS reboot MOCKINGBIRD LANE to premiere sometime in September. 

*Oh no, TRUE BLOOD flashback! I thought I’d successfully repressed the image of Bill and Lorena indulging in a little vampire hanky panky / grotesque neck snapping. Guess not.
