Following the earlier report about the DOCTOR WHO fiftieth anniversary special getting a name, length, and slew of tie-in shows, the BBC have realised they’d made that announcement by accident, taken it down, pretended it never happened, and put it back up with a new poster. While it’s great that WHO gets so much publicity, if we at Starburst accidentally made a major announcement early, we’d probably just pretend it’s what we meant to happen.

Oh, well. Here’s that poster. What can be gleamed from it? Well, the Bad Wolf meme is back somehow, and seems to have something to do with John Hurt’s mysterious, dark Doctor escaping the Time War. Plus, is it just us, or do the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors look almost identical? Their haircuts are turning into each others, their suits are lit to look the same, and they both need to cheer up a bit…
