You were the star of an unlikely hit TV series, about a serial killer that only killed persons deserving death, which has recently concluded. Months later you’re still approached by fans telling you how “unsatisfied” they were with the series finale. This could actually turn you psycho so spare a thought for Michael C Hall as he told Zap2it that fans question him about the finale “all the time.”

“They’ll ask me about the ending and tell me why they found it troubling or unsatisfying, or on the other hand, they want to distinguish themselves by saying they liked the ending,” he explained. “I think it would be really foolish or naive to think a stranger is coming up to me because they want to talk about the weather.”

Having spent more than a decade appearing on the small screen, Hall is looking forward to treading the boards of the theatre once more with a role in The Realistic Joneses.

” really where I come from. The work I’ve done on television has been great, but it’s prevented me from really doing much on stage,” he said.

“I’m interested in doing new things, but I don’t want to disregard the relationship I have with Showtime.”

In January Showtime president David Nevins said that he was considering a Dexter spinoff but only with Hall’s involvement. May be I’m mistaken but wouldn’t that just be a continuation of Dexter?
