Those of you looking forward to Marvel’s upcoming BLADE anime series might have shared our disappointment at the previous two trailers, but the House of Ideas have really delivered with this newly released clip. Want gravity defying action? Check. Speedlines? Check. Slow mo’ slice-n-dice? Check! It’s everything you could want from an anime incarnation. Just hope the show as a whole lives up to this early promise…

Synopsis time…

‘Blade’s mother was bitten by a vampire while pregnant, imbuing her unborn son with vampire strength and a thirst for blood, but without the vulnerability to sunlight. A master of weaponry with a desire to avenge the death of his mother, Blade finds himself in Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Cambodia in an effort to take down the evil villain, Deacon Frost. With vampire hunter Makoto at his side, they will stop at nothing to destroy Existence, a vampire organization with roots deeply embedded in Asia.’

Still no release date for us here in the UK as yet, but US readers only have to wait until the 13th of Jan to see it premiere on G4.
