The brilliant Charlie Brooker’s three-part series Black Mirror, cautionary futuristic tales warning of Mankind’s over-reliance on technology and scientific advancement, was one of the great underrated TV treats of 2011. Screened on Channel 4 the three films achieved middling ratings but were critically acclaimed and a second series was swiftly commissioned. The three new films are now completed and due to be aired shortly, again on Channel Four. Cast and details are sketchy at the moment but the three titles have been revealed – Be Right Back, The Waldo Moment and White Bear. The first episode will be premiered at a sell-out BFI event on 21st January followed by a Q&A which will be attended by Brooker and available cast.
