At last the wait is over for us law-abiding types who don’t like to download illegally! 

There’s good news for all of you who have been waiting to check in to BATES MOTEL. The Emmy-nominated series will have its UK premiere on the revamped Universal channel Thursday, September 12 at 9pm.

The PSYCHO prequel transposes a teenage Norman Bates into a contemporary setting where not only does he have to deal with the trials and tribulations of adolescence, but also his dark and sinister compulsions.

By all accounts British born Freddie Highmore gives a sterling performance as the young Norman, as does Vera Farmiga who portrays Norman’s mother Norma.

Now remember, a boy’s best friend is his mother…
