Bedlam

Sky Living’s first original drama commission, the supernatural series Bedlam, attracted enough attention last year to justify a second run. The series, you may recall, concerned a new luxury residential development built on an old mental health institution and unwisely retaining the connection by calling itself ‘Bedlam Heights’. Well, would you want to live there? The second six-part series starts on Sky Living on 6th June at 10pm and there’s been some creative retooling with most of the original cast dumped (save the development’s owner Warren Bettany played by Hugo Speer) and Lacey Turner, who effortlessly escaped her EastEnders stereotyping last year in a couple of episodes of season three of BBC3’s Being Human apparently stepping into the “what if I can see dead people?” role occupied in last year’s run by Theo James’ Jed Harper (no word yet on whether last year’s series cliffhanger with Theo’s character is due to be resolved this year). Joining Lacey will be Gemma Chan (Secret Diary of a Call Girl) as her best friend Keira along with Jack (son of Tim) Roth who appeared in last year’s BBC1 adaptation of Great Expectations and newcomer Nikesh Patel.

Sky Living have released the full, very American-style cast line-up publicity photos…
