First appearing back in Season 1 of The CW’s ARROW, the Huntress recently made her return to the show in the BIRDS OF PREY episode which will be air in a couple of weeks’ time in the UK. Speaking to Digital Spy, ARROW executive producer Marc Guggenheim has been talking about a possible spin-off show for Jessica De Gouw’s Helena Bertinelli.

Guggenheim initially said that an episode of ARROW that features Canary (Caity Lotz), Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Huntress working together is “on our show bucket list” before he added, “As far as what becomes a series, what doesn’t become a series, one thing I’ve talked to DC Comics about is, I’d love to do a Huntress series.”

He continued, “I mentioned this to Jessica – where we cover the year that she spent between episodes 117 (Season 1, Episode 17) and 217 (Season 2, Episode 17), from her perspective, travelling the world and hunting for her father. You never know, all things are possible as long as we’ve got Jessica’s willing participation.”

Huntress, of course, wouldn’t be the first character to get their own spin-off show from ARROW, as Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen is to star in THE FLASH series that is currently in development.

In the meantime, you can findour review of the Huntress’ return in BIRDS OF PREY here.
