In a recent interview with IGN, Stephen Amell has been talking about what fans can expect from the second season of The CW’s ARROW.

Amell said, “We’re just going to find everybody in a different place. I think we’re actually to find Oliver literally in a different place at the beginning of next year. It’s our second season, but it’s kind of like a new series. So I’m excited.”

Given the dramatic ending to the first season, Amell was asked how Oliver would respond to what went down. He replied, “The reason that he was the vigilante, the Hood, all that stuff is gone now. Merlyn’s been stopped, the list is essentially somewhat obsolete, the Glades are destroyed. If he’s going to become the vigilante again or something different, he’s gonna need a new reason.”

With Colton Haynes, Roy Harper in the show, recently saying that he expects a few of the more predominant DC characters to appear in the next season, Amell added to this by saying, “ARROW’s world is growing…”

Here’s hoping that ARROW season two is as enjoyable as the first season.
