Chairman of Entertainment for Fox Kevin Reilly has revealed that 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY will be an break away from its traditional US setting; “This is going to be set in an international setting,” he said.

This would tally with rumours that some scenes will be shot in London which will no doubt please the show’s star Kiefer Sutherland, as he was hoping to set part of the aborted movie in our capital.

“I have been really heartened by the amount of equity left in the show. I am stopped by fans all the time, thanking me for bringing it back,” Reilly added.

The 12-part limited series will take place over a single day – skipping some hours between episodes.

Executive Producer Howard Gordon and his team of writers have returned to ruin another day for CTU agent Jack Bauer, “with a new vibrancy. Howard always had 12 great ,” Reilly states, “…it was the next 12 that used to kill them.”

24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY will air in the States on Fox next summer. Stay tuned for a UK air date.
