As Ryan Murphy teased last year, season three would see the return of some of our favourite AHS actors that, for whatever reason, sat ASYLUM out. First to be announced: the excellent Taissa Farmiga, who played tortured teen Violet Harmon. As per usual, no details of her role have been revealed as of yet, but some clues might be found in our previous story about the existing plot info.

Farmiga will be joined by AHS veterans Jessica Lange, Lily Rabe, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson in what co-creator Ryan Murphy promises will be a “lighter, funnier” season. Promise us a satisfactory ending as well, and colour us happy!
