With Transformers: The Last Knight on the way later this year, the upcoming Bumblebee spinoff movie has found itself a director.

Deadline is reporting that Travis Knight has been brought in to helm the film, and Knight certainly won a whole host of praise last year for his feature film debut, the Oscar-nommed Kubo and the Two Strings.

This Bumblebee-driven (geddit?!?!) effort is just one of several upcoming Transformers movies, with this particular picture currently set for a June 8th, 2018 release. Up next for the character is an appearance in the aforementioned Transformers: The Last Knight, which speeds to the big screen this June. As well as these films, a sixth entry in the main Transformers franchise is slated for June 2019.
