If you happen to be in Birmingham between the 8th and 10th of August and see a yellow Camaro being chased by a US black-and-white police car, don’t panic. You are not about to witness Armageddon or any kind of apocalyptic Bayhem. They’ll be on their way to AUTOASSEMBLY 2014, where they’ll reside for the weekend as TRANSFORMERS fans from around the world congregate to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the franchise.

Joining them for a weekend of robot revelry will be Shockwave, Sky-Byte, Tracks and Sentinel Prime (or at least their audio counterparts David Sobolov, Peter Spellos, Michael McConnohie and Townsend Coleman). They’ll in turn be joined by the usual rogue’s gallery of artists and writers from the TRANSFORMERS comic series as well as toy dealers who will be more than happy to swap their goods for that silly paper stuff you keep in your wallet.

That, along with convention-exclusive toys, Hasbro giveaways, cosplay, comics and cocktails (yes, cocktails including Energon, Blurr’d Vision and of course the Starscream) await. Tickets are still available at http://www.autoassembly.org.uk/.
