We’ve known for a while that T.J. Miller was signed on for 20th Century Fox’s DEADPOOL, although his role was unknown. Until now.

Miller took to his Twitter account to confirm that he will, as speculated by some, be playing Weasel in the film. He posted the below picture on his Twitter account, accompanied by the caption: “Yes yes y’all. Weasel in the house. #Vancouver”

The character of Weasel is the long-time best friend of Deadpool, becoming a sidekick and weapons dealer of sorts for the Merc with a Mouth. Eventually, as is so often the case, he’d become a villain known as The House.

As well as Miller, the film will star Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, with roles for Ed Skrein, Gina Carano and Morena Baccarin. It’s also been confirmed that Colossus will be a part of the film, although Daniel Cudmore will not be reprising his role from the X-MEN series.

To be directed by Tim Miller, DEADPOOL is currently set for a February 12th, 2016 release.
