Has the title for the next Spider-Man movie been revealed? Possibly so…

The BBC has picked up on the fact that Sony has registered the web domain SpiderManHomecomingTheMovie.com. That should be a pretty big indicator in and of itself, and the same thing also happened when the title for SPECTRE, which is a movie that Sony were also involved in.

Of course, the Spider-Man Homecoming title is far from confirmed by Marvel Studios, Disney or Sony at this stage, but it would certainly be a fitting title. During the 1980s’ Homecoming comic arc, Spidey was joined at times by Captain America and Iron Man. Considering that Tom Holland’s Wallcrawler will make his debut in this month’s Captain America: Civil War, this definitely fits in with that, particularly as there’s been plenty of rumours that Cap and/or Iron Man will turn up in the upcoming Spidey movie.

To be directed by Jon Watts, this still-officially-untitled Spider-Man effort will hit cinemas on July 28th, 2017.
