Finally! After what feels like an old of referring to it as simply ‘the Jurassic World sequel’ or Jurassic 5 (which we did kind of dig), the official title has been revealed for the next entry in the Jurassic Park/World franchise.

From this day forward, the film shall forever be known as Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, with Universal Pictures dropping the below poster to reveal the news:

Plot details are thin on the ground right now, although we do know that Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will be back, along with new additions in the form of Toby Jones, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, and Rafe Spall. Oh, and did we mention Jeff freakin’ Goldblum? No? Well, Jeff freakin’ Goldblum will be back to pick up his Ian Malcolm role.

With Jurassic World helmer Colin Trevorrow busy with a little movie by the name of Star Wars: Episode IX, stepping in to the director’s chair for Fallen Kingdom is When a Monster Calls and The Orphanage’s Juan Antonio Bayona. Trevorrow did pen the script, however, with him teaming with writing partner Derek Connolly to put that together.

At present, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is set for a release exactly a year from today on June 22nd, 2018.
