Hot on the heels of being confirmed for a Netflix home in international markets, now comes word that Titans has already been renewed for a second season.

The series was given its world premiere at the ongoing New York Comic Con, and that was followed by the news of a second year for the live-action Teen Titans effort.

For those in the US, Titans will premiere on the hotly anticipated DC Universe streaming service next week – October 12th, to be precise – while the rest of the world will see the show land on Netflix on a to-be-confirmed date that hopefully isn’t too far away.

The official blurb on Titans reads:

Titans follows a group of young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.
