Many are still a little uncertain when it comes to MTV’s upcoming Scream the TV Series, but there’s some good news for horror fans.

Taking to his Twitter account, Ti West has revealed that he’ll be directing part of the show. West, of course, is best known to genre fans for directing House of the Devil, The Sacrament and The Innkeepers. West said, “The first movie I drove myself to see when I got my license was @wescraven’s SCREAM. Now I’m directing part the TV series. Life is weird.”

The plot of Scream the TV Series centres on a group of Lakewood high school kids who are tormented by a version of Ghostface. As well as West, Honeymoon’s Leigh Janiak will also be helming some episodes of the show.

Scream the TV Series actually premieres tonight in the US, with a UK airing yet to be officially confirmed.
