The classic Gerry Anderson cinema productions THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO and THUNDERBIRD 6 will be screened at ANDERCON – the official celebration of Gerry’s work, which takes place in Leicester on June 13th and 14th.

Both films are being released on Blu-ray, and it’s these high definition versions which will be getting a rare big screen outing over the weekend. Attendees will be able to purchase early copies of the discs, ahead of their June 15th release.

Also appearing over the weekend, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of THUNDERBIRDS, there will be a reunion of the four surviving Tracy Brother actors – Shane Rimmer, David Graham (who also voiced Parker), Matt Zimmerman, and Jeremy Wilkin, who will be making a very rare appearance.

ANDERCON is being held at Athena, Leicester, UK on June 13th and 14th, with a special launch evening being held at Leicester’s Phoenix Cinema and Arts Centre on Friday June 12th.
