With Marvel’s The Defenders currently shooting, the addition of three more cast members has now been confirmed.

Marvel Entertainment has moved to confirm that the returning faces of Elden Hanson’s Foggy Nelson, Eka Darville’s Malcolm, and Carrie-Anne Moss’ Jeri Hogarth. Foggy has been seen in the two seasons of Daredevil so far, whilst Malcom and Jeri have popped up as vital cogs of Jessica Jones’ debut season.

These new additions join a cast that currently includes Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page. Additionally, it’s believed that Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle/Punisher will have a presence in the mini-series, too. Sigourney Weaver is signed on as the villain of the piece, although her character is being kept under wraps right now.

Marvel’s Daredevil’s Marco Ramirez and Doug Petrie are acting as showrunners on Marvel’s The Defenders, with the eight-episode show arriving on Netflix at a TBC 2017 date.
