As the Thunder God gets sets to face the huge prospect of Ragnarok (essentially Judgement Day) in his next cinematic outing, Birth.Movies.Death has a substantial update on Thor’s third film.

The website reports that, as reported last week, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk will have a substantial role to play in the film, and the screenplay in place by Christopher Yost is the darkest Marvel tale yet and one that has an “apocalyptic vibe” to it. Additionally, following on from another story from earlier this month, it’s also claimed that Eagle vs. Shark, Boy and What We Do in the Shadows director Taika Waititi is indeed going to be helming the film, with his role to bring some light to the dark script that’s in place.

Of course, none of this is official yet and Marvel Studios is keeping relatively schtum on Thor: Ragnarok, which is currently set for a November 3rd, 2017 release.
