As the Thunder God gets ready for his next outing, Thor: Ragnarok has brought in Stephany Folsom to help with the screenplay. Folsom is best known for her Black List entry, 1969: A Space Odyssey or How Kubrick Learned to Stop Worrying and Land on the Moon.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news, with Folsom being brought in to work on the screenplay that was previously put in place by Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle. Ragnarok will pick things up with Loki ruling over Asgard in the appearance of Odin, and large parts of the story will take place on “a distant planet” that is definitely, definitely “not Asgard and not Earth.” The film will also feature Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk teaming up with the Son of Odin, leading many to believe that we may even get some alternative take on the famed Planet Hulk story.

Thor: Ragnarok is to be directed by Eagle vs. Shark, Boy and What We Do in the Shadows’ Taika Waititi, and the film is currently set for a November 3rd, 2017 release.
