With The CW’s Flash now having managed to travel over to Earth-2, the Scarlet Speedster will be returning to this alternative Earth before the show’s second season comes to a close. And once there, there’s now news that he’ll be meeting the Earth-2 Black Canary.

Part of Barry Allen’s struggles recently is that he isn’t fast enough to get back over to Earth-2 and to take down uber-rogue Zoom. Given how the Sultan of Speed recently ran fast enough to land over in CBS’ Supergirl, it looks as if The Flash now has enough speed in the tank to get to wherever he needs to be. Now, courtesy of producer Marc Guggenheim, comes confirmation that Gustin’s Flash will meet up with Earth-2’s Laurel Lance during this season’s penultimate episode.

Over in Earth-2, Katie Cassidy’s Laurel is actually known as Black Siren. To comic book fans, Black Siren is Donna Nance, the only female member of the Justice Guild of America and somebody who is essentially the Golden Age take on Black Canary.

The episode in question is due to air on May 17th over in the US.
