Having won plenty of praise for what we’ve seen so far, The CW has moved to renew Riverdale for a second season.

There’s no news yet on whether the series will actually return as a mid-season debut next year or whether it will expand its episode count and become a longer season next time around, but at least we know that there’s still plenty more to come from KJ Apa’s Archie Andrews and Co.

Despite some being a tad trepidatious over this new take on the beloved Archie character and his pals, Riverdale has actually been a unique breath of fresh air to most fans and made many a doubter eat their proverbial hats.

Airing on The CW in the US, Riverdale can be found on Netflix here in the UK – and we’d say it’s definitely worth checking out.
