The CW is the US home of many a genre favourite these days, and the network has moved to announce their line-up for the fall season. Basically, those superhero shows that you love? Well we now know when they’ll be returning over the pond.

First to return is the Grant Gustin-starring The Flash, which will see its third season begin on Tuesday, October 4th at 8pm. Following that, the Stephen Amell-headlined Arrow returns for its fifth season on Wednesday, October 5th at 8pm. Monday, October 10th at 8pm will see Supergirl’s second season land at the network following Melissa Benoist’s Maid of Might’s move from CBS to The CW. Rip Hunter and his ragtag crew will then be back when DC’s Legends of Tomorrow brings its Season 2 on Thursday, October 13 at 8pm, which will then be followed at 9pm by Supernatural’s twelfth season. Finally, Friday, October 21st at 8pm will see the Season 8 premiere of The Vampire Diaries.

Usually, the UK airings of the aforementioned shows tend to follow the US airings by a week or two, although expect confirmation on UK dates as and when they get announced.
