Whilst a third main Conjuring movie has yet to be officially announced, it seems a given that one is happening, and now producer Peter Safran has been discussing what we can expect to see from the next spooky outing for Ed and Lorraine Warren.

Speaking to Cinema Blend about the topic of The Conjuring 3, Safran enthused, “There are some spent a fair bit of time researching and were part of. Clearly we can’t do another haunted house movie, right? We can’t do another supernatural possession in a house with a family in peril, right? So, it’s got to be something different than that, I think.”

The last any of us had heard about a possible third straight Conjuring picture was when James Wan said that the film would take place in the 1980s.

Elsewhere, we now have a flesh-out Conjuring-driven universe taking shape, with Annabelle: Creation heading to the big screen later this year, before The Nun arrives next year.
