Series One of the classic Gerry Anderson series Terrahawks has been unleashed on DVD and Blu-ray for the first time from Network.

Hugely popular in the early ‘80s, the show saw Anderson return to puppet animation and was peppered with great action and some spot-on humour.

Co-created by Christopher Burr, the series followed the Terrahawks crew, an elite task force defending the earth in the 21st century, with their chief foe being the wizened android crone Zelda.
Jeremy Hitchen – a veteran of Gerry Anderson productions – provides the voice of the team leader, Doctor ‘Tiger’ Ninestein (as well as other characters), and legendary comedy actor Windsor Davies is instantly recognisable as the voice of Sergeant Major Zero, the Zeroid’s commander.

The two-disc set includes all fourteen episodes of the first series – restored in high definition from the best available materials, as well as a host of special features: Geronimo! Terrahawks SFX with Steve Begg and Terry Adlam (HD) / The Composer’s Perspective with Richard Harvey (HD) / FX Trims (HD) / Zeroids vs Cubes / The Price is Right audio episode / Glass Onion music video / Image gallery (HD) / Expect the Unexpected: VHS Version / Script and Annual PDFs.

Terrahawks Volume One is out now on DVD and Blu-ray.
