Given how The CW’s Supergirl has featured several Super-alumnus in its two-season run so far, you can now add another familiar face to the list as the series is bringing in Teri Hatcher.

Hatcher, of course, famously played Lois Lane in Lois and Clark back in the ‘90s, and in Supergirl she’ll be playing a recurring villain throughout the second half of the current second season. No details are known just yet on who this villain will be, but it looks as if she’ll be sticking around for at least a few episodes.

On this news, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said, “No offence to any of the wonderful actresses who have also played the part, but Teri Hatcher is my all-time favourite Lois Lane. To have her come back to SuperWorld in a completely different part is an unbelievable gift to me, Greg , and the fans.”

To date, The CW’s Supergirl has already featured Lois and Clark’s former Man of Steel himself, Dean Cain, and the star of 1984’s Supergirl, Helen Slater, not to mention Linda Carter of Wonder Woman fame.
