outings that lie ahead for Marvel’s Netflix-exclusive world – a world that also
exists within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Krysten Ritter-starring Jessica Jones is the next show in line for the Netflix-exclusive
efforts, with this to be followed by the Mike Colter-headlined Luke Cage, then Iron Fist, and then the coming together of the four titular heroes
for the Defenders mini-series. Well
this morning brings the first teaser for Jessica
Jones and also reveals the show’s premiere date.
In all territories where Netflix is available, the service
will have Jessica Jones ready for
viewing as of 12:01am PT on November 20th.
The official word on the show reads:
Taking place after a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero
stint, the new series follows Jessica Jones as she rebuilds her personal life
and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with
extraordinary abilities in New York City.
