In the continuing saga of Syfy’s home-grown programming, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the broadcaster is developing FIVE GHOSTS. Based on the Image Comics title of the same name, the series follows treasure hunter Fabian Gray, who is able to draw on the power of the five literal ghosts who live inside him – those being Merlin, Robin Hood, Sherlock Holmes, Musashi and Dracula.

FIVE GHOSTS, written by Frank Barbiere and Chris Mooneyham, was funded via Kickstarter and is set in a pulpy 1930s backdrop. Benderspink, the production company behind the dreadful HANGOVER franchise and WE’RE THE MILLERS, will be helming the show.

At the moment, FIVE GHOSTS seems set to be one of the more exciting titles set for the next few years on Syfy. As ever, expect more details as we hear them.
