With Henry Cavill’s Big Boy Blue Scout set to be a part of Zack Snyder’s Justice League when that arrives next year, now comes a tease of a new outfit for the Man of Steel.

If you remember, the conclusion of this year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice saw Superman seemingly perish after taking down the hulking Doomsday. This, of course, is something that was pulled from comic book lore, with the famed The Death of Superman arc featuring Doomsday and the Last Son of Krypton ultimately cancelling each other out and both dying, with Supes’ losing his own life in order to stop this unrelenting threat. That, though, was famously followed by the return of Kal-El only a few months later. And much like that comic book resurrection, we can expect something similar from the cinematic Supes. In fact, judging from this new tease of a picture, it looks as if Cavill’s Superman will even be returning in a black outfit similar to what he wore upon his return from the grave in the comic book realm.

Accompanied by simply #Superman, Cavill himself sent out the picture in question on his Instagram page, as show below:

The official synopsis for Justice League reads:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes – Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash – it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Joining Cavill’s Superman is Ben Affleck’s Batman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, Ray Fisher’s Cyborg, and Ezra Miller’s The Flash. In addition to these characters, Amber Heard will be appearing as Queen Mera, the wife of Momoa’s King of Atlantis, Willem Dafoe will be playing Vulko, an Atlantean advisor to Aquaman, and J.K. Simmons will be debuting as Commissioner Jim Gordon.

At present, Justice League is set for a November 10th, 2017 release.
