In some news that’s sure to please a whole host of genre fans, production is now underway on Season 3 of Stranger Things.

Netflix has released the following announcement video to let this splendid news out of the bag:

For said third season, the series has added Saw’s Cary Elwes, Starship Troopers’ Jake Busey, and Little Women’s Maya Thurman-Hawke to the action.

If you’ve been living under a rock and have yet to have the chance to check out this hugely enjoyable genre effort, the official blurb on Stranger Things reads:

A love letter to the ‘80s classics that captivated a generation, Stranger Things is set in 1983 Indiana, where a young boy vanishes into thin air. As friends, family and local police search for answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery involving top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl.
