There is still a little time left to contribute to the Kickstarter for The Grime, a horror anthology comic and brainchild of James McCulloch, writer of the hypnotically visceral City of Lost Souls.

The Grime’s intent is to bring a punk rock aesthetic to the indie comics scene, and includes work from the writers and artists of the likes of Wart, Sentient Zombie Space Pigs, Bust, How to Kill Bears, Tracks in the Snow, Merrick the Sensational Elephant Man, as well as some newcomers for whom this will be their first published work.

“We want to unsettle you, and we want to make more than one issue so we can keep unsettling you,” McCulloch states. “If you don’t need a shower at the end of each issue then we’ve not done our job properly.”

The campaign can be viewed here, and McCulloch is also currently accepting script and art submissions for the anthology’s second issue.
